Configuration and Accessing Your E-mail

In the following article, you will find the information regarding configuring and accessing your email of the hosting account. There are multiple ways to do these procedures. You can choose one of them depending on the type of your hosting account.

Linux Accounts

In case you have a Linux hosting account, you have to use cPanel in order to administer your site.

  • In order to modify or access your account, go to the email section of cPanel and click Email Accounts.
    • To modify the account, you will have a list of parameters that you can change. To change your password, click There, you will find a field for a new password which will be under Security. Don’t forget to change your password from time to time for better protection of your account.
    • If you want to change the account’s quota, you also have to click Manage. You can allocate the allowed amount of storage under Allocated Storage Space.

 

  • In order to access your Linux hosting account, find the email you need under Email Accounts and then click the button Check Email.

 

  • Choose the webmail application that you prefer and click on it. You will see the webmail interface appear.

 

Linux hosting products include:

 

Shared hosting: Startup, Boost, Turbo Boost, and Turbo Max packages.

 

Windows Accounts

In case you have Windows hosting account, you have to use Plesk in order to administer your site.

  • In order to modify or access your account, log in to Plesk. Detect the domain that has the email you want to configure or access, and then click on Email
    • To modify your email, locate the email that you want to change. Plesk will show you the page where you can change any setting of your email.
    • If you want to access your email, go to the Mail page in Plesk and find the email account you need. Click the webmail button, which is located near Information Then log in to this account, using the password and username for it. After you click Login, the mailbox of this account will appear.

 

WordPress Accounts

In case you have a Managed WordPress account, you have to use Plesk in order to administer your site.

  • In order to modify or access your account, log in to Plesk. Detect the domain that has the email you want to configure or access, and then click on the Email button.

 

  • To modify your email, locate the email that you want to change. Plesk will show you the page where you can change any setting of your email.

 

  • If you want to access your email, go to the Mail page in Plesk and find the email account you need. Click the webmail button, which is located near the Information button. Then login to this account, using the password and username for it. After you click Login, the mailbox of this account will appear.
